In his initial 2012 NFL Draft first-round projections ($$), ESPN's Todd McShay selects Penn State defensive tackle Devon Still to go off the board at No. 23 to the Denver Broncos.
Of course, at this point, with the NFL season still in full swing and the order of the draft still dramatically in flux, it's really not at all clear where Still will actually end up. The real take away from this projection is that a leading draft prognosticator believes the 6-foot-5, 310-pound senior from Wilmington, Del. to be a first-round-level talent.
Still has been named a first-team All-American by several publications and organizations and earned recognition as the Big Ten's Defensive Lineman of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year. He was also a finalist for the Chuck Bednarik and Bronco Nagurski Trophies, awarded to the nation's top defensive player, and the Outland Trophy, awarded to the nation's top interior lineman.
