It is likely to be a battle of the backups Sunday afternoon when the St. Louis Rams (2-12) and Pittsburgh Steelers (10-4) clash at Heinz Field. Pittsburgh quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has been ruled out for this game, replaced by veteran Charlie Batch. St. Louis is likely to start Kellen Clemens if a high ankle sprain keeps Sam Bradford sidelined for Week 16.
Roethlisberger last missed a start in 2009, due to a concussion. Batch is a serviceable 4-2 as a spot starter for the Steelers, and has thrown eight touchdowns and six interceptions in those six contests.
