The Steelers will send five players to the 2012 NFL Pro Bowl after rosters were announced on Tuesday night.
Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, safety Troy Polamalu, center Maurkice Pouncey and wide receivers Antonio Brown and Mike Wallace will all represent Pittsburgh in Hawaii. Brown has been selected for special teams duty. Wallace and Brown will be making the first Pro Bowl appearances of their respective careers. Pouncey will head to his second Pro Bowl and Polamalu will make his seventh career trip to the game, including his sixth as a starter.
Linebacker James Harrison, safety Ryan Clark and linebacker Lamarr Woodley have been chosen as alternates, according to the team's official Twitter account.
The Steelers' five selections rank behind only New England (8) and Baltimore (7) in the AFC.
