Bengals Vs. Steelers: Rashard Mendenhall Touchdown, Bengals Fumble Result In 21-0 Score For Steelers

After scoring early in the second quarter, Rashard Mendenhall scored yet another touchdown just a few minutes later. With 10 minutes left in the second quarter, it’s 14-0 Steelers.

The touchdown was set up by a key pass interference call against the Bengals on a deep ball from Ben Roethlisberger to Mike Wallace.

On the touchdown, Mendenhall took a toss and headed to the right, then cut back and made it into the end zone.

On the ensuing kickoff, Stevenson Sylvester, swiped at Brandon Tate’s arm, and Tate dropped the ball. There was a big pileup – one of those situations where the hapless refs have to peel away one huge dude after another – and Emmanuel Sanders was at the bottom of the pile with the ball, so the Steelers got the ball back with great field position. The Steelers quickly scored again on a touchdown pass to Wallace. It’s 21-0.
