Yup, that Mr. Schuester. The Super Bowl is so big that not even the star of a musical television show based around a high school's glee club can escape it. AOL recently asked Matthew Morrison for his pick.
Who is your pick to win the Super bowl this year?
Matthew Morrison: Steelers
Well, that was educational. Thanks for the input. Let's maybe turn our attention to someone who may have a little bit more knowledge on the subject, and a little bit more to say. Oddly enough, Ndamukong Suh reached the same conclusion, but not without buying himself a little bit of time first.
"To be honest with you, it's kind of hard for me to predict who's going to take that one. I don't have a favorite yet because I have friends on both sides. I know a rookie who plays for the Steelers, I know Brandon Jackson who I played with at Nebraska and also Troy [Polamalu] is from Oregon and I'm from Oregon so I'm rooting for him a little more. I think it's going to be a good game, high scoring and it's just a matter of which defense will make that stop . . . I'm not good at predictions or scores but I think the Steelers might pull it out."
It's actually pretty typical of an NFL player to not want to pick sides. The only people I could see being willing to pick sides are members of the Bears and Ravens, who wouldn't hesitate to pick against the divisional rival they hate.
