Post-Super Bowl, Steelers Could Shuffle Coaches

The Post-Gazette has a big article on potential changes to the Steelers' coaching staff now that Super Bowl XLV is over. Here's the gist:

↵

-P- Defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau isn't going to the Cardinals. The rumor that he could head to Arizona didn't make any sense when it first appeared, and it still doesn't make sense. He looks likely to come back to the Steelers next year.

↵

-P- However, the Cardinals "will seek permission" to speak with Steelers linebackers coach Keith Butler about the defensive coordinator job. Butler looks to be in line to take LeBeau's job when he retires, however, and may not be interested, especially since he turned down the Dolphins' defensive coordinator job a year ago.

↵

UPDATE: Steelers Depot tweets that the Steelers will not grant the Cardinals permission to speak with Butler, so that should be the end of that.

↵

-P- The Post-Gazette reports that offensive coordinator Bruce Arians could be gone next season, but doesn't elaborate on what that might mean. In any case, his departure would surely relieve many Steelers fans.
