Hines Ward Excels On 'Dancing With The Stars' (Video)

Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward excelled on "Dancing With The Stars" last night as he danced the quickstep with partner Kym Johnson, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review notes:

The first results show is at 9 tonight on ABC, but Ward and Johnson appear to be safe from elimination.

I feel like this is all worth noting, given that this is a Pittsburgh sports website, but it's largely outside my purview. It's not that I'm too manly to worry about something girly like dancing. I'm not. It's just that I have the grace of a spavined antelope, and so the dance floor scares the heck out of me. Not so for Ward, who made his way around last night with ease. Ward said in the beginning of the segment that past shoulder injuries made it difficult for him to hold his posture during the quickstep, but that doesn't seem to have held him back.
