2011 NFL Mock Draft: What Might A Seven-Round Draft Look Like For Steelers?

There's some stuff in this epic mock draft in a FanPost at Behind The Steel Curtain that is certainly arguable, but one of the best things about the internet is that it gives crazy fans a forum to do crazy things like write up a seven-round mock draft.

This mock has the Steelers taking Miami cornerback Brandon Harris at No. 31 overall. After that, it's TCU offensive lineman Marcus Cannon, then Hampton nose tackle Kendrick Ellis. From a positional standpoint, all these picks make sense. The Steelers need a corner to accompany Ike Taylor, since Bryant McFadden and William Gay haven't really gotten it done. Offensive line was an issue most of the year. And though the Steelers don't need a nose tackle immediately, Casey Hampton won't be around forever.

With their late-round picks, the author has the Steelers grabbing New Mexico State corner Davon House, Rutgers safety Joe Lefeged, Nebraska kicker/punter Alex Henry, and Stanford fullback Owen Marecic.
