2011 NFL Mock Draft: SB Nation's Two-Round Mock Has Steelers Picking Cornerback, Offensive Lineman

SBNation.com’s latest two-round NFL Mock Draft lists the first three likely picks as Cam Newton, Marcell Dareus and Von Miller. After that, Mike Pouncey goes to the Dolphins at No. 15 – it’s increasingly common for him to turn up there. Pitt’s Jabaal Sheard goes to the Falcons at No. 27. SB Nation has the Steelers selecting Texas cornerback Aaron Williams:

This might be a touch high, but Williams is physical and a playmaker. The Steelers need both.

In the second round, SB Nation has Baylor nose tackle Phil Taylor, who did a pre-draft visit with the Steelers, falling all the way to the Chiefs at No. 53, and another possible Steelers target, Virginia corner Ras-I Dowling, going to the Texans at No. 42. The Steelers’ pick is Florida offensive lineman Marcus Gilbert:

Gilbert is a riser with the ability to play either side. He’s also a former teammate of Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey.

Gilbert did a pre-draft visit with the Steelers as well, and the Steelers will surely be looking for offensive linemen, so this pick makes some sense.
