2011 NFL Mock Draft: Steelers Mock Has Pittsburgh Getting Ras-I Dowling, Sam Acho, Jah Reid

Behind The Steel Curtain has another excellent, intensely-detailed seven-round Steelers NFL Mock Draft for you to sink your teeth into. It begins with the Steelers picking Virginia cornerback Ras-I Dowling in the first round. Dowling doesn't usually come up in the first round of most mock drafts, but he's usually gone by the middle of the second, so unless they trade down, the first round will be the Steelers' only shot at getting him. And honestly, he seems like a better pick than the cornerbacks who do commonly appear in the late first round, like Texas' Aaron Williams and Miami's Brandon Harris - there really isn't much to dislike about Dowling beyond his injury issues.

BTSC has the Steelers taking Texas OLB Sam Acho in the second round, and it's pretty hard to see the Steelers taking an OLB that high - they already drafted Jason Worilds in the second round this year, and have him to go along with James Harrison and Lamarr Woodley. BTSC has the Steelers picking UCF offensive lineman Jah Reid in the third round.
