Think the Steelers have had a bad offseason, with the arrest of Hines Ward, the furor over James Harrison's recent statements, and Rashard Mendenhall's Twitter problem?
↵Well, the Cincinnati Bengals have it worse. Running back Cedric Benson was arrested for assault this weekend, and that came on top of the arrest of Marvin White last week and PacMan Jones' arrest a few days earlier.
↵In fact, in the past decade or so, the Bengals have had more arrests than any other organization.
↵↵↵According to Enquirer records and the San Diego Union-Tribune's database involving arrests of NFL players, the Bengals have had 35 arrests since 2000, which is the most in the league.
↵
Of course, the Enquirer also notes that the Bengals hadn't had an arrest in over a year before this recent spate. Still, the idea that the Bengals outpace other teams in arrests is probably a fact that would shock no one.
