Falcons Vs. Steelers: Players To Watch

Here are some players to watch in the Steelers' preseason game against the Falcons.

The Steelers take on the Atlanta Falcons in NFL Preseason action at Heinz Field on Saturday night at 7:30, and Behind The Steel Curtain has a list of players to watch. This should be an interesting game, in that the Steelers' starters will receive a bunch of playing time against a good team.

Topping BTSC's list, though, is cornerback Donovan Warren, who could surprisingly grab a spot on the 53-man roster. The Steelers' cornerback situation has seemed as precarious as ever this preseason, and Warren looks like he could take advantage.

Also on the list is 2011 second-round draft pick Marcus Gilbert, who will start at left tackle; Mike Wallace, the top receiver who has done little so far in the preseason; Ziggy Hood, who's supposed to be developing into a starter but who hasn't played well in the preseason so far; and Weslye Saunders, who's fighting for a backup spot at tight end.

I'd probably add Keenan Lewis and (if he plays) Bryant McFadden to that list. Lewis started last week against the Eagles and had a nice game, and now there are rumors that he could take McFadden's job. McFadden is listed as questionable for the game.

Be sure to head over to BTSC to check out the full list. There will be coverage of the game there, and here at SB Nation Pittsburgh.
