Seattle Seahawks defensive end Raheem Brock has been fined $15,000 for a low tackle on Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, but he will appeal the fine. Roethlisberger sat out for a short time after the hit, but quickly came back and continued to play well. Roethlisberger is still expected to play this week, so there shouldn't be any lasting problems as a result of the hit.
Brock isn't happy about the fine:
Fined by the NFL today for being "TRIPPED" by an o'lineman and fallin into the QB's legs! Smh if I only had super powers to stop mid air
Brock is referring to what looked like a trip by Steelers rookie offensive lineman Marcus Gilbert, which he says propelled him into Roethlisberger. You can judge for yourself with the video after the jump.
