Steelers backup quarterback Charlie Batch has a new interview on 93.7 The Fan in which he discusses the futures of Hines Ward (who had a diminished role in the Steelers' offense this year) and offensive coordinator Bruce Arians (who many Steelers fans love to hate).
↵On whether Ward will come back to the Steelers next season:
↵↵↵I think they'll work something out, that he is coming back. It's hard because he wants to play, but it's hard to envision him somewhere else.
↵
On Arians:
↵↵↵... [H]e's been able to break down the playbook to exactly what Ben [Roethlisberger] likes ... This offense is Ben's offense, and in 2007 [Arians' first season], Ben put up phenomenal numbers, and it was franchise records all over the place with what he was able to do, and that was how Ben now all of a sudden turns the corner and becomes one of the great quarterback.
