The Tim Tebow jersey Pittsburgh mayor Luke Ravenstahl wore after losing a bet about the Steelers' first-round playoff matchup against the Broncos just sold on Ebay for $1,400, the Post-Gazette reports.
↵After the Broncos' defeat of the Steelers, Ravenstahl wore a Tebow jersey and Tebowed near Heinz Field.
↵↵↵After that humiliation, Mr. Ravenstahl decided to sign the jersey and auction it on eBay, with the goal of donating proceeds to The Pittsburgh Promise, the college scholarship program he co-founded.
↵The eight-day auction, which concluded today, drew 68 bids from 23 bidders.
↵The winner, "scottgunn," bid seven times. Mr. Ravenstahl will send him a letter of appreciation along with the jersey.
↵
That's got to be quite a piece of memorabilia for a Broncos fan.
↵Anyway, both the Steelers and Broncos are out of the playoffs. Let us never speak of Tim Tebow again.
