NFL Mock Draft 2012: Steelers Select Penn State Lineman Devon Still

The Pittsburgh Steelers need to add some depth to their defensive line, that much we know. Whether or not they try to take that depth in the first round of the NFL Draft this Spring remains to be seen. But there is a pretty good defensive lineman right in their backyard at Penn State named Devon Still. A new Mock Draft at Revenge of the Birds connects those two dots and has the Steelers taking Still in the first round.

Still is a very good defensive tackle, and would instantly fill a major need on the Steelers at the 3-4 nose tackle spot. In my mind, Still will fall a little bit, due to injuries keeping him out of this weekends Senior Bowl, and overall, not a lot of need for defensive tackles, especially over the players already drafted.

Still is all over the place in Mocks around the Internet, going as high as the top ten in some while hovering around the early 20's in others. His position will depend a lot on how he does at the NFL Combine and during interviews with the respective teams.
