Ben Roethlisberger threw two touchdowns and an interception in the usual display of silliness that is the Pro Bowl, and the AFC beat the NFC Sunday, 59-41.
Roethlisberger threw a 34-yard touchdown pass to A.J. Green and a 74-yard touchdown to Brandon Marshall. Roethlisberger also was intercepted by Clay Matthews, although the NFC lost the ball later on the same play after a series of ridiculous laterals. Overall, Roethlisberger went 6-of-11 with 181 yards.
Steelers receiver Mike Wallace had two catches for 34 yards. Ryan Clark had four tackles, and James Harrison had three. Antonio Brown returned a kick for 29 yards, returned four punts for 115 yards (including a 46-yarder), and had a tackle. Brown after the game:
Had so much fun today ! Felt like little league game i got a chance to play on all 3 phases of the game spec team offense defense ! Blessed
"Little league game" is right, but that's still got to be quite a thrill for Brown in his second year in the league.
Marshall had 176 yards receiving for the AFC, while Philip Rivers passed for 190 yards. Eric Weddle had two interceptions. For the NFC, Steve Smith, Tony Gonzalez and Larry Fitzgerald all had over 100 yards receiving.
