The Denver Broncos will host a Playoff game this weekend against the Steelers, but they aren't playing their best football as of right now. After that long winning streak in the middle of the season, the Broncos have lost their last three games in pretty terrible fashion. It would be easy to understand if the Broncos weren't feeling very confident heading into their matchup with the Steelers. But according to the Trib, Broncos captain Brian Dawkins delivered a speech that appeared to refocus the team on their goal.
Dawkins' conversation seemed to snap the Broncos out of their funk following a disheartening 7-3 loss to Kyle Orton and the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. The mood in the locker room on Monday was more mellow than miffed, more focused than faltering.
