2012 NFL All-Pro Roster Includes Maurkice Pouncey

The Associated Press announced its 2012 NFL All-Pro roster on Friday, and honored Maurkice Pouncey of the Pittsburgh Steelers as its center. It's the first All-Pro First Team selection for Pouncey, who earned Second Team honors in the 2010 season. The former Florida Gator anchored the Steelers' injury-ravaged offensive line for 14 games in 2011.

Detroit Lions wideout Calvin Johnson and Minnesota Vikings defensive end Jared Allen led the voting, with each player finishing just one vote shy of being a unanimous selection. Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers easily bested Drew Brees of the Saints for his first selection.
