Roethlisberger played in two of the last three regular-season games with a high ankle sprain. Charlie Batch is expected to get the start if Roethlisberger is unable to go before the 4:30 p.m. kickoff at Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium.
Roethlisberger has plenty of faults, but an unwillingness to play through pain is not one of them. Limping or not, he'll be the starter in a playoff matchup.

As we mentioned before, center Maurkice Pouncey probably will not play in Sunday's game. Doug Legursky is the likely starter at center. Cornerback Cortez Allen and running back Mewelde Moore are out.
Safety Brian Dawkins is out for Sunday's game, while fullback Spencer Larsen is listed as probable. Corner Jonathan Wilhite and safety David Bruton are questionable.
