SBNation.com lists its NFL Playoff Picks, and calls on bloggers from Behind The Steel Curtain and Mile High Report to pick the winner of the Steelers vs. Broncos matchup on Sunday. The Broncos writer admits flat-out that "I never pick against the Broncos," but also writes that their matchup against the Steelers should be tough sledding (before ultimately picking the Broncos because there won't be much pressure on them, or something). The Steelers writer picks the Steelers, 28-10 (which might actually be a bit ambitious, with Ben Roethlisberger banged up and Rashard Mendenhall out).
SB Nation's Joel Thorman takes the Steelers to win, 17-6. Here's his reasoning.
This game should be easy to explain, really. The Broncos overwhelmingly favor running the ball and the Steelers are a top 10 run defense. Tim Tebow's inabilities in the passing game finally end the Broncos season.
Yeah, pretty much. Anything can happen, but let's not overthink this. There is every reason to suspect that the Broncos offense will have a very tough time.
