Steelers Vs. Broncos Score Update: Pittsburgh Takes A 3-0 Lead After Ben Roethlisberger Hits Heath Miller For 33 Yards

The Pittsburgh Steelers took a 3-0 lead on the opening drive of their AFC Wildcard matchup with the Denver Broncos on Sunday. Ben Roethlisberger hooked up with tight end Heath Miller for two huge completions on the opening drive.

The big play of the drive was a deep pass down the middle to Miller. Roethlisberger was nailed by Robert Ayers on the play but not before he lofted it nicely into the arms of the wide open tight end who was streaking down the middle of the field. The 33-yard completion put Pittsburgh deep into Denver territory. On the previous play, Big Ben hit Miller in the right flat on third and three for a big eight yard gain that kept the chains moving.

After the big Miller completion, the Pittsburgh drive would stall at the Denver 27 yard line. Shaun Suisham came on and easily drilled a 45-yard field goal for the 3-0 lead.
