Tim Tebow Connects With Eddie Royal For 30-Yard Touchdown (Video) As Broncos Lead Steelers 7-6

After gaining just eight yards in the first quarter, the Denver offense came to life early in the second as two deep passes by Tim Tebow quickly led them down the field. Tebow hit wide receiver Eddie Royal for a 30-yard touchdown catch in the corner of the end zone. As with all touchdowns, the play was reviewed, but Royal's knee came down well inside the sideline.

The opportunity was set up two plays earlier when Tebow completed his first pass of the day. It was a big one, as he heaved it down the left sideline for a 51-yard completion to Demaryius Thomas.

Video of the completion to Thomas below. Ike Taylor's coverage on the play is actually pretty good, but Tebow and Thomas beat him anyway. Ike Taylor getting beaten by Tim Tebow like that has to count as one of the more surprising developments in the NFL this week.

After the quick strike, Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers look to respond and re-take the lead.

Steelers defensive end Brett Keisel was injured on the touchdown.
