James Harrison was a surprise participant in practice on Monday with the Steelers, and he is hopeful to play in Week 5. He did not say much to the media following the end of practice, but it is believed his knee is recovering at a pace the training staff is happy with. Harrison has not played or practiced regularly since undergoing knee surgery in early August.
Here is what the 34-year-old linebacker tweeted on Monday afternoon. It appears his spirits are up after a busy day on the practice field.
God willing, I will be playing Sunday against the eagles!

The Steelers have been without All-Pro safety Troy Polamalu in recent weeks, and there is a chance he could also play in Week 5. Pittsburgh's defense has not been great early in the season, but the return of these two veterans could provide a huge boost to the team moving forward. The Steelers will welcome in the Philadelphia Eagles, who are 3-1 this season, next Sunday afternoon.
