The Pittsburgh Steelers and country artist Toby Keith announced Wednesday that a new I Love This Bar & Grill will open on the North Shore in the spring of 2014, according to the team's website.

Keith started the line of restaurants in 2005, with three locations in Oklahoma. Since then, 11 locations have been opened, including one at Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots.

Known for its Southern cuisine, enormous, red-white and blue guitar-shaped bar and live entertainment from local and national country music artists, construction on the new venue will begin in the spring of 2014. The new restaurant will be developed at the corner of the DelMonte Building located at Chuck Noll and North Shore Drive, across the street from Stage AE. It will occupy approximately 16,000 square feet.

The restaurant will bring approximately 250 full- and part-time new jobs, according to the press release.

The menu includes many Southern dishes, like barbecue ribs, chicken and pork. The dessert menu even includes a fried Twinkie.

Frank Capri, CEO and president of Boomtown Entertainment, said people won't be going to the restaurant just for the food.

"The people in Pittsburgh will love to come sit at the giant guitar-shaped bar, painted red white and blue like the American flag -- and watch a rising country music singer perform on a stage so close you can see the sweat on his or her brow," Capri said.
