The Pittsburgh Steelers have risen in the majority of power ranking polls following Sunday's last second victory against the Philadelphia Eagles.
SB Nation's power poll curated by editor Joel Thorman has the team ranked at No. 8 overall which is an increase of five positions from last week. However, Thorman questions whether the jump is too high, as the team was a field goal away from starting the season at 1-3.
NFL.com ranked the Steelers at No. 9, which was six spots up from last week. The jump was explained due to several teams ahead of the Steelers losing in Week 5. However, editor Elliot Harrison made sure to note how impressive it was that quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was able to convert third downs on the final drive (most notably, third-and-12 from the Steelers' 18-yard-line).
ESPN.com also noted Roethlisberger's heroics and moved the team up six spots for last week to No. 10 overall. CBSSports.com also ranked the Steelers at No. 10 (a two spot boost).
