The Pittsburgh Steelers host the San Diego Chargers as they cling to the final AFC Wild Card spot on Sunday. The Steelers are tied with the Bengals at 7-5, but have beaten Cincinnati. The two teams will face off again in Week 16. Beating San Diego is important for the Steelers in playoff tiebreaker scenarios, as they currently possess just a 4-5 record against conference opponents.
Pittsburgh got a big boost last week when it was able to steal a win in Baltimore without starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. The Steelers will be happy to have Big Ben back on Sunday, as he is expected to return to the lineup after missing three games with an injured throwing shoulder.
The Chargers have completely fallen apart in the second half of the season. San Diego has lost four-straight games since starting the year 4-4, and have dropped seven out of eight overall. Their losses haven't helped the Steelers out much lately, as the Chargers have fallen to Baltimore and Cincinnati in consecutive weeks.
