2012 NFL Mock Draft: Another Mock Sends Dontari Poe To Steelers

The guys over at Walter Football have come out with their latest 2012 NFL Mock Draft and they have a pick for the Steelers which has become very popular over the past couple weeks: the mammoth defensive tackle from Memphis, Dontari Poe.

Poe is a massive load at the line of scrimmage. The 6-foot-5, 350-pounder is difficult for offensive linemen to move, and he is dependable to fill his gap and keep linemen off the linebackers. Poe had 41 tackles with 6.5 tackles for a loss and two sacks in 2010. This year, he totaled 33 tackles with eight tackles for a loss, one sack and one forced fumble.

Poe is the kind of big man who won't shoot up draft boards because his stats don't pop off the page, but could have an impact like Vince Wilfork at the next level by occupying blockers and allowing the talented Steelers linebackers to make the tackles behind him.
