The guys over at Walter Football have come out with a new 2012 NFL Mock Draft and it allows for them to make a trade. They have the Cleveland Browns trading up to the No. 2 pick in the draft and the Rams acquiring their two first round picks. With their second first round pick, then, No. 22 overall, they have the Rams taking Penn State defensive tackle Devon Still.
The Rams have a lot of needs and could go a number of directions with this pick. Cornerback and offensive tackle are two options, but the best value would be to select Still. St. Louis has needed an interior presence on its line to help stuff the run. A presence like Still could also help edge rushers Chris Long and Robert Quinn.
The Rams need help all over the field, and defense is no different. Still is versatile enough to help all over the line, and considering how much the Rams need help there, he could be a good fit. But they would have to make this trade or reach for him at No. 2 for that to happen.
