2012 NFL Mock Draft: If Mike Adams Drops, The Steelers Could Pounce

Even with his great performance at the Senior Bowl, some NFL Draft analysts are still not sold that Mike Adams is a clear-cut first round pick. The Ohio State Buckeyes tackle has dealt with knee injuries and was suspended for the first five games of 2011 for impermissible benefits, but a solid second half of the year and a good week of Senior Bowl practice has Adams' stock rising. In the latest mock draft over at SB Nation's Mocking the Draft, Adams is projected as the pick for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

It's worth noting that this could represent a perceived drop for Adams, whose stock is currently rising. SBNation.com's latest mock draft has him all the way up at No. 12 overall. Adams doesn't have elite quickness, but at 6-foot-7 and 323 pounds, he fits in perfectly with the Steelers' history of drafting large, powerful offensive linemen.
