2012 NFL Mock Draft: Steelers Take Dontari Poe, Devon Still Out Of First Round

SB Nation's latest 2012 NFL Mock Draft has the Steelers taking Memphis nose tackle Dontari Poe, a potential heir apparent for Casey Hampton, with the No. 24 overall pick in the first round.

Poe is an obvious replacement for the aging Casey Hampton, who also had to have his ACL surgically repaired after their Wild Card loss to the Broncos. A natural nose tackle, Poe also has the kind of pocket-crashing ability of an interior linemen who weigh 50 pounds less.

Elsewhere, the Seattle Seahawks trade with the Minnesota Vikings to take Robert Griffin III with the No. 3 pick. The Seahawks are often one of the teams projected to take a defensive tackle in the first round, so this trade really gums up the works, and the result is that Penn State's Devon Still, who disappears from the board in the first dozen picks in many mock drafts, disappears from the first round entirely. (The Carolina Panthers take another defensive tackle, LSU's Michael Brockers, at No. 9.) We're still at that point where there isn't widespread agreement on the values of a lot of these prospects.
