Steelers Free Agency 2012: Expect Steelers To Re-Sign Mike Wallace, Reporter Says

In his preview of the NFL Free Agency with 93.7 The Fan, Steelers writer Ed Bouchette says he expects Mike Wallace to be a Steeler in 2012.

"I don't expect another team to sign Mike Wallace away from the Steelers because they would not only be forfeiting a large contract, but they would also sacrifice a first round draft pick."

Bouchette also points out that the second half of the season that Wallace had might scare off some potential buyers.

"Those teams have video tape of the same second half of the season that we saw."

He also said Steelers fans should not get their hopes up about any big free agent acquisitions, which makes sense, due to the way the team has conducted business in the past and its current issues with the salary cap.
