The Pittsburgh Steelers will be looking at a few different positions in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft. One position that some think the Steelers will look at is the linebacker position to replace James Farrior and to continue adding youth to the Steelers defense. In Sports Illustrated's latest NFL Mock Draft, Don Banks has the Steelers picking up a linebacker in the first round of the draft.
24 - Pittsburgh Steelers - Don'ta Hightower, LB, Alabama
With offensive tackles like Adams and Martin going off the board right before their pick comes, the Steelers turn to their second most pressing need, grabbing the draft's second best inside linebacker. Hightower should walk right into the lineup as a replacement for James Farrior, and gives Pittsburgh's defense a shot of youth and athleticism.
The Steelers have slowly been injecting youth into their roster and parting ways with aging veterans. Banks has the Steelers picking up Hightower and many others think offensive line is a position the Steelers could also look at.
