Many people have prescriptions to take Adderall for ADHD, although college students often use it illegally in order to help them concentrate for long periods of time. Fellow NFL players Garrett Hartley and Ben Patrick have received suspensions for using it. It's not yet clear why Saunders might have used the drug.
