The Pittsburgh Steelers are preparing for their No. 24 overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, but once they make that selection they have to hang around for the rest of the weekend and add some more depth to their roster in the later rounds. With that in mind, Dane Brugler of CBS Sports provides a list of five players that the Steelers should consider at various points in the Draft.
The first is Cordy Glenn, and he is really the only player on this list that could go in the first round. Glenn is one of the top guards in the entire draft and he could really help solidify the interior of the Steelers' offensive line, an area they really could use an upgrade.
The next prospect is one of the more interesting players in the entire draft, Appalachian State wide receiver Brian Quick. He comes form a small school, but he absolutely dominated his level of competition and has an incredible size to speed ratio for the NFL. The Steelers don't have a viable receiving threat with size on the roster, so Quick could fit in nicely. He could be a second round pick.
Brugler also lists running back Isaiah Pead of Cinciantti, defensive tackle Hebron Fangupo of BYU and inside linebacker Shawn Loiseau of Merrimack as potential options even later in the draft.
