NFL Draft 2012: Dermontti Dawson To Announce Steelers 2nd-Round Pick

Former Pittsburgh Steelers offensive lineman Dermontti Dawson will take the stage at Radio City Music Hall on Friday night to announce the team's second-round pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. The NFL made the announcement on Monday afternoon.

The NFL is continuing a program introduced at last year's draft that brings in a former player to announce the pick. This is only for the second-round, except for the four teams that do not have a second-round pick; their former players will announce the third-round picks for those teams.

Dawson played in Pittsburgh for all 13 years of his Hall of Fame career. He made the Pro Bowl seven times in his career, from 1992 through 1998, and was a Pro Bowl starter in six of those appearances. He was voted into the Hall of Fame in 2012.
