2012 NFL Draft: Devon Still Likely To Be Drafted Early

Mocking The Draft has a short profile of Penn State defensive tackle Devon Still, who now looks like he'll be a late-first-round or early-second-round pick. A few months ago, mock drafts frequently had Still in the top 10, but he seems to have fallen out of favor. If he lasts until the second round, he could provide some team with excellent value there.

Good short area quickness. Showed much better awareness in the run game as a senior. Was able to more quickly sniff out the ball and decipher where the play is developing. Possesses a frame that can carry more weight. Experienced playing multiple techniques. Has told reporters he started to put more film room time in as a senior. Isn't a soft body lineman. Fast hands. Long arms. Has high upside because of his frame and natural strength.

Mocking The Draft lists his play against double teams and a lack of creativity in the pass rush among Still's weaknesses. Still, MTD lists him as the top defensive tackle prospect in the draft, ahead of LSU's Michael Brockers and Clemson's Brandon Thompson.
