2012 NFL Draft Grades: Steelers Get A- From SB Nation

SB Nation has its NFL Draft grades out. That the Steelers were able to get David DeCastro in the first round was a coup for them, so it's no surprise that they fare pretty well, earning an A-.

The Steelers get the benefit of the doubt with a few of their picks considering they've been among the elite when it comes to the draft. David DeCastro is an immediate starter and paired with Maurkice Pouncey, this offensive line is headed in the right direction. Add in Mike Adams, an awesome value in Round 2, and the Steelers made huge improvements to their offensive line. I like the Sean Spence pick in Round 3. Alameda Ta'amu has the potential to be an absolute steal in Round 4. He's a possible Casey Hampton replacement. Chris Rainey was another good value pick.

This article only contains AFC teams. Other interesting grades: the Raiders get an F, and the Jaguars get a D. The Bengals get an A. The Cleveland Browns for some reason get a B despite a bizarre draft that included reaches for Brandon Weeden and Mitchell Schwartz.
