Steelers OTAs: David Johnson Switches To Fullback

After generally splitting time between tight end and fullback over the past three years, David Johnson is now making the full-time switch to fullback. Running back Isaac Redman alerted the media of the move, saying that Johnson now spends all of his time in meetings with the running backs.

Johnson has yet to record one carry in his first three years in the league, while he's caught 18 passes for 146 yards and one touchdown.

As reported by CBS Pittsburgh:

"For me, being in the league a couple of years now, I am picking it up faster than the younger guys," Redman said. "It's not too difficult for us. Everybody is out here working together, helping each other out, discussing things so that when the season comes around we should be clicking on all cylinders."
