Both players were drafted in the seventh-round of the 2012 NFL Draft and look to be developmental prospects. Paulson played his college football at Oregon and is known more as a pass catching tight end. Frederick played college football at Texas A&M and is expected to potentially contribute on special teams as a rookie in a deep Steelers secondary.
