Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger has a new offensive coordinator as Pittsburgh has moved on from Bruce Arians and turned to Todd Haley to guide Big Ben and the offense. Despite the new system Roethlisberger's fantasy prospects remain about the same. SB Nation's fantasy sports site Fake Teams ranked Roethlisberger at No. 12 in their 2012 fantasy football QB rankings two spots down from last year.
Last season Big Ben threw for 4,077 yards and 21 TDs in 15 games but finished the season on a high-ankle sprain which limited his effectiveness.
Haley brings in a new system, but it's not as if he doesn't like to throw the ball as evidenced by the offense he ran with the Cardinals in 2008. His Chiefs teams were less explosive, but also less talented. The biggest danger for Roethlisberger's fantasy outlook is that the Steelers top wide receiver, Mike Wallace, has still yet to report to camp, but hopes are that he will be in Pittsburgh for the start of the season.
