Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin felt good about his team after they beat the Indianapolis Colts 26-24 on Sunday night at Heinz Field.
While the team certainly wasn't perfect, Tomlin was satisfied with the way the team is making progress.
"There is a lot to be corrected, that is a part of August football for us but it's good to make those corrections while you win."
No group on the team has been watched closer than the offense with Todd Haley's new style, and so far Tomlin is pleased with the results.
"I did, and not only the first team offense but everyone. It was better. We challenged them more with what we asked them to do and they did a relatively good job. Again, we're still working individually and collectively."
On the flip side of things, Tomlin wasn't thrilled with his return teams after they struggled to generate much yardage throughout the contest.
"I didn't like our return game though. I thought our return game as below the line and we can get better in that area."
The preseason will continue with a contest against the Buffalo Bills at Ralph Wilson Stadium on Saturday.
