When the Pittsburgh Steelers travel to Ralph Wilson Stadium on Saturday night to challenge the Buffalo Bills, the club will do so without a handful of players.

Linebackers James Harrison and Stevenson Sylvester, along with running backs Rashard Mendenhall and Jason Ford, will all stay behind while the team makes the trip.

Harrison has been battling an injured left knee that has forced him to miss the entirety of training camp to this point. After undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery on Aug. 15, the five-time Pro Bowler believes that he will be ready for the Steelers' season opener.

Mendenhall, however, will not be ready for the start of the regular season and potentially could miss the majority of the opening month while recovering from a torn ACL sustained at the end of last season.
