Starting with Sunday's Hall of Fame Game between the Cardinals and Saints, there will be football every weekend until after the Super Bowl. While this weekend doesn't feature any football for the Steelers, it does feature Hall of Fame festivities for several players with heavy Pittsburgh ties.
Jack Butler and Dermontti Dawson each spent their entire football careers with the Steelers and will represent the team as the newly enshrined members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Among those joining them as members of the class of 2012 will be Chris Doleman and Curtis Martin, who were both standouts at Pitt.
The festivities for the enshrinement already began on the weekend prior to the ceremony and will include the Gold Jacket Dinner tonight in which the class of 2012 will receive their Hall of Fame gold jacket. On Saturday, August 4 at 7 p.m. the Class of 2012 Enshrinement Ceremony will take place.
The Hall of Fame Game between the Cardinals and Saints will take place Sunday, August 5 at 8 p.m.
