The Pittsburgh Steelers will try to pull their record to an even 1-1 on Sunday afternoon when they face the New York Jets in their home opener at Heinz Field. The Jets are coming off a blowout win over the Bills, as New York's offense busted out after a woeful preseason on that side of the ball. Dick LeBeau's defense will have their hands full if Mark Sanchez develops the kind of rhythm he displayed in Week 1.

But the Steelers understand what's on the line, even in mid-September. Opening the home slate with a win is essential, and despite a banged-up offensive line, Ben Roethlisberger will come out firing Sunday afternoon. The game is the late-afternoon national spotlight contest, with CBS sending Jim Nantz and Phill Simms to call all the action. The Steelers will not have the traditional Sunday 1 p.m. game until October. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:25 p.m. ET and almost the entire country will be getting the game, save for Tennessee and California.
