Well, it looks as if the NFL schedules might be leaking. According to Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the Pittsburgh Steelers will open the 2012 season against Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos on Sunday night (Sept. 9). The game is a rematch of last season's Wild Card playoff game, where the Broncos won 29-23 in overtime following an 80-yard touchdown pass from Tim Tebow on the first play of the extended period.

The full schedules are not expected to be released until later today at 7 p.m. EST.

For the Steelers, this means that safety Ryan Clark will be unable to play in the opener because of health concerns. Clark suffers from a sickle-cell trait, which prevents him from playing at a high altitude. And Denver's Sports Authority Field at Mile High certainly classifies as high altitude.
