It was announced today that WVU and BYU will square off at the home of the Washington Redskins, FedEx Field, on September 24th, 2016. WVU Athletic Director Oliver Luck released the following statement:
↵↵↵"BYU has been one of the consistently powerful programs over the last 35-40 years," WVU Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Oliver Luck said. "In so many ways, LaVell Edwards reminds me of Don Nehlen. Both built solid foundations at their respective schools. Anybody that has played quarterback in the NCAA has enormous respect for the quarterback tradition at BYU since the early 1970s.

"FedExField is one of the nation’s great venues. Being able to play a game in the Washington, D.C., area, is very important for our alumni and the Mountaineer fans in the Washington, D.C., Northern Virginia and Maryland areas and also along the Atlantic seaboard."
It's an easy drive from Morgantown, against a quality opponent, and tickets should be plentiful. Sounds like a good idea to me!
