The Week 9 AP College Football Rankings are out. Unsurprisingly, it was a tough week for West Virginia, which fell to No. 25 after an ugly loss to Syracuse. Penn State, meanwhile, is at No. 21 after knocking off Northwestern.
After Michigan State’s dramatic win over Wisconsin, the Spartans are the highest-ranked Big Ten team, at No. 9. Wisconsin falls to No. 12, and is followed by Nebraska at No. 13. Michigan is at No. 17.
Cincinnati joins WVU as the only Big East teams in the standings. The Bearcats are at No. 24.
Oklahoma, meanwhile, falls to No. 11 after losing against Texas Tech.
