The West Virginia Mountaineers have released their basketball television schedule for the 2011-12 season. The ESPN family of networks will feature 16 Mountaineer games on national television. WVU will open its nationally televised schedule in just their second game of the season, when they host Kent State at home on November 15th. The game will be played at 10 A.M. at WVU Coliseum as it is a part of ESPN's tip-off marathon and 24 straight hours of college hoops. The Mountaineers will also be on national television throughout the non-conference month of December, with games against Mississippi State, Kansas State, and Miami all on ESPN's networks.
The conference schedule is also typically loaded with games on ESPN, including two appearances in the traditional Big East Big Monday slots, at Connecticut and home against Pittsburgh in January. Here is the complete television schedule from MSNSportsNet.com:
