College Football Rankings, Week 14: AP Poll Has West Virginia, Penn State Near Bottom

Here’s a look at how local teams performed in the Week 14 AP college football rankings. After its 21-20 win over Pitt, West Virginia is at No. 22. Penn State, after losing to Wisconsin, is one spot behind the Mountaineers, at No. 23. The other Big Ten teams present are Michigan State (No. 11), Wisconsin (No. 15), Michigan (No. 17) and Nebraska (No. 20). Cincinnati came in at the end of the USA Today coaches poll, but the Bearcats aren’t represented in the AP poll, so the Mountaineers are the only Big East team.
